Voices In Performance

The Voices in Performance, or VIP program, is a new initiative of the Department of Education and Training’s Arts Unit to support the development of choral music in NSW government schools. The VIP program provides a number of pathways for secondary students to participate in vocal music programs and to showcase their achievements through Department of Education and Training and other high profile performance events. This year the VIP program includes the establishment of representative Regional Choirs, a Combined Regional Choir performance, a State Choir, a Boys Choral program, as well as providing opportunities for the Arts Unit’s Vocal Ensembles – the NSW Public Schools Singers and the NSW Public Schools Junior Singers.
