2008 Dance Ensembles

Congratulations to all those students who have auditioned to participate in the 2008 NSW Public Schools Dance Companies and Ensembles.  Please use the navigation button to the left of this page to view the audition results.

The NSW Public Schools State Dance Companies and Ensembles are an established core program of The Arts Unit. The program aims to foster the development of talented students in dance and provide performance opportunities in order to encourage the pursuit of excellence in this art form.

Students are tutored weekly and the company and ensembles play a large role in staged events in the state. They form the core dance groups at the State Dance Festival, Schools Spectacular and other major events.

Students are selected to participate by audition.  Successful students are required to attend weekly rehearsals after school in Sydney.  Applications for 2008 have now closed.  Applications for 2009 will open in January 2009.
