How To Be Involved

The process for nominating your school for participation in the 2008 Primary Proms is very easy. There are only two things you need to do.

Step 1

Using the link below, download and complete Choir Entry Form. Your completed entry form needs to be lodged at The Arts Unit by the closing date - Friday, 14 December 2007. (Please note: downloadable material on this site can be accessed using Adobe Acrobat Reader which is available to download free from www.adobe.com )

Step 2

Prepare a video/DVD recording of a song of your choice performed by your school choir and submit this with your application form.

 

All nominating schools will be advised of the outcome of their application early in Term 1, 2008.

 

Upon acceptance to the Proms your school will need to pay a non-refundable participation fee of $25.00 per student. This participation fee will provide each participant with a choir repertoire book and high quality colour T-shirt to be worn in their performance. Participating schools will also receive a set of teaching CD's to assist them in learning the repertoire. Each successful choir will be offered two complimentary tickets for the performance in which they will participate. Principals from participating schools will also receive an invitation and two complimentary tickets to the concert in which their school will perform.

Individual Items

Those schools who wish to nominate outstanding vocal and/or instrumental groups or soloists for inclusion in the Primary Proms concerts should use the navigation button to the left of this page to view the information about Individual Items.
