How To Be Involved

Nominating your school for inclusion in the Combined Schools Recorder Ensemble and/or the Combined Schools String Ensemble for the 2010 Festival of Instrumental Music is easy. Using the links below, simply download and complete appropriate entry forms. Your completed entry form(s) needs to be lodged at The Arts Unit by the closing date - Friday 11 December 2009. A return fax or email acknowledging receipt of your application will be sent to your school before Friday 18 December 2009. If you do not receive this confirmation, it is important that you notify Sue Hill immediately, Susan.Hill2@det.nsw.edu.au

Schools will be advised of the outcome of their application by Friday 29 January 2010. A non-refundable fee of $30.00 (plus GST) per student is payable upon acceptance into a Combined Schools Ensemble. Please note that due to concurrent rehearsals being held in different locations, individual students may only nominate for one Combined Ensemble (recorders or strings).

To nominate an individual item from your school, please download, complete and return the Individual Item Application Form by the due date - Thursday 1 April 2010. Use the links below to download the form. Don't forget - a DVD or video of your performance must accompany your application.
