Rehearsal Information
Preliminary Rehearsals - Recorders
All metropolitan students participating in the Combined Schools Recorder Ensemble are required to attend one combined preliminary rehearsal. These preliminary rehearsals will be held at
the Salvation Army Congress Hall, Elizabeth Street, Sydney (directly next to Museum Station). Dates for the
2010 Preliminary Recorder Rehearsals are as follows:

| Jacaranda Concert | Wednesday 28 April 2010 | 9:30 am - 1:00 pm |
| Banksia Concert | Thursday 29 April 2010 | 9:30 am - 1:00 pm |
| Mimosa Concert | Friday 30 April 2010 | 9:30 am - 1:00 pm |
Detailed information concerning Preliminary Rehearsals and all other aspects of the Festival of Instrumental Music are included in the Recorder Teachers Information Book that will be issued at the Teachers' Workshop.

All metropolitan students participating in the Combined Schools String Ensemble are required to attend one combined preliminary rehearsal. These preliminary rehearsals will be held at
Croydon Public School, 39 Young Street, Croydon (3 mins walk from Croydon Station). Dates for the
2010 Preliminary String Rehearsals are as follows:

Detailed information concerning Preliminary Rehearsals and all other aspects of the Festival of Instrumental Music are included in the String Teachers Information Book that will be forwarded to participating schools with the teaching kit early in the 2010 school year.
Concert Rehearsals - Recorders
Final rehearsals for the Combined Schools Recorder Ensemble will take place on your day of performance. These rehearsals will be held at the Sydney Opera House from 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm.
Concert Rehearsals - Strings
Final rehearsals for the Combined Schools String Ensemble take place on your day of performance. These rehearsals will be held at the Sydney Opera House from 12:00 pm - 3:45 pm.
Concert Rehearsals - Individual Items
Individual Items appearing in the Festival of Instrumental Music will have a rehearsal scheduled in the Concert Hall on the day of their performance. Attendance at this rehearsal is mandatory.
