Regional Choirs

 

Regional Choirs

Each region across NSW runs choral activities for students and teachers within that region. These activities include choral camps, workshops and a representative Regional Choir. The Regional Choirs have many performance opportunities within their region including Regional Music festivities, exhibition openings and showcase concerts.

 

Combined Regional Choirs

As part of the new Voices in Performance initiative, the regional choirs combine for a workshop and at least one performance each year. This year, the Combined Regional Choirs will have a workshop in Sydney on Sunday 13th and Monday 14th September, culminating in a performance at Sydney Opera House on Monday 14th September as part of the Arts North festival. In addition to this, the Combined Regional Choirs will form the nucleus of the Central Choir at the 2009 Schools Spectacular.
