Vocal Ensembles

Applications are now being accepted from student vocalists who wish to be considered for participation in the 2010 NSW Public Schools Vocal Ensembles. The vocal ensembles are high quality and high profile groups which provide a wide range of varied performance opportunities for talented school-aged vocalists. In 2010, the ensembles will include NSW Public Schools Singers (School Years 8 to 12) and the NSW Public Schools Junior Singers (School Years 4 to 8). Involvement in all vocal ensembles requires commitment to weekly rehearsals, a number of performances and a possible tour during the year.

Performance Opportunities

Opportunities exist for the ensembles to be involved in performances at many major events including the ANZAC Day concerts, Opera House and Hills Centre concerts, Schools Spectacular, ensembles concerts and recordings for television and radio.
